Do you offer Engagement Photos? Yes! Both our Elopement and Full Day packages include an engagement session, but you can also invest in a 1 or 2 hour couples session (to celebrate your engagement, or anniversary, or the best reason of all...just because) on it's own. For engagement sessions, not only is this a special time in your lives to document (you're only a fiancé for so long), but also a great opportunity for the four of us to get to know each other better. Our goal is for you both to feel as comfortable as possible behind the lens on your wedding day, and this is a really fun, low-pressure chance to practice!

When can I expect to see my wedding photos? We know how excited you will be to see all of your photos after your wedding, so we aim to deliver your full collection within 30 days. We will also send over a small collection of our immediate favourite images 24 hours after your wedding - hooray!

How many photos will we receive? You can expect to receive a minimum of 60 images per hour of wedding coverage. With the typical 9-12 hour wedding, you're looking at upwards of 550 fully edited images. We can assure you that our coverage will encompass your entire wedding. For 1-2 hour couples sessions (or engagement sessions), we promise a minimum of 40 images.

Do you sell prints? Yes! We have partnered with an amazing printing house that is affordable, high quality, and best of all, easy. We deliver your edited photos digitally through an online gallery, which you can purchase prints from directly if you so choose. Once you decide which photos are your favourites, and which sizes you'd like to have printed - you can simply purchase your prints online, and your photos will be delivered right to your doorstep within a week - it's pretty awesome. If you're looking for something more unique, like cards (Save the Dates, Invitations, Thank You cards) a large canvas print, or custom framing, our printing partner also provides these types of products and we'd be happy to chat more about their full range of services.

Do you offer albums? Yes! Custom albums are near and dear to our hearts because we've not only found the most incredible Canadian album producer to work with, but because albums take our work off your screen and into your hands and homes. There's nothing we love more than seeing our photos off screen, and we love working with our clients on designing their custom albums. Because we are so passionate about providing you with a family heirloom to display proudly in your home, we include a large (12x12 or 9x12) custom album as a part of both of our photography packages. You can also purchase an album on it's own, or a slightly smaller copy for grandparents, parents or anyone else that you have in mind! Do you photograph all of your weddings together? Yes! When you book with Note Photography, you get Ben and Mariel together - from our first coffee meeting, to dancing our hearts out with you on your wedding day (cameras in hand).

Where are you based out of? We live in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia.

Do you travel for weddings? We sure do! Our travel costs are minimal, and we love a change of scenery - so please don't hesitate to reach out if you are planning a destination wedding, or something simply a province or two over. We come from large families and have lots of places to stay all across Canada, so depending on where your wedding is, we may not have to add a hotel to our expenses. 

How many weddings do you book in a day? Being fully present (and not rushed whatsoever) is very important to us. We want to be there for every important moment on your wedding day, as it happens. Because of this, we only book 1 wedding per day. We also love multi-day weddings, and have a special day rate in place if you require a 2nd or 3rd full day of coverage.

What quality of images can we expect? We shoot with all of our own gear - which consists of top of the line professional Canon cameras and lenses. Our wedding and lighting kit is an extensive collection of professional grade equipment, and we always shoot with back ups (of everything). We value quality of our delivered images above everything. All delivered images are high resolution so that you can print your favourite photos as large as you would like to, without worrying about the integrity of the image. You can also easily download web sized images from your online gallery for easy sharing to social media.

We've heard about these things called "At Home" sessions...how do we know if our place will be suitable for one of these!? We are SO glad you asked - we love the intimacy of an at home photo session, and think this is such a special way to document your love and your home at the same time. Wouldn't it be fun to look through those photos and laugh about all your "vintage" decor when you're old and grey?! Also, if the thought of getting your photo taken in the middle of downtown in front of 300 people terrifies you, this is a really nice and easy way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day. Don't stress if your home is not up to Pinterest perfect standards (trust us - ours isn't). All we need to ensure a successful at home photo shoot is lots of natural daylight. If you're not sure that your home has enough natural light - send us a snap with your phone in the early evening, & we'll be able to tell if it's going to work or not!

We're in! How do we book with you? To reserve your wedding date with us, we require a 50% retainer fee to hold your wedding date and time, and a signed contract. Once you're in our calendar, we can start planning your engagement photos and begin dreaming up your wedding album! We can't wait to meet you.
